RECLAIMING THE NIGHT IN BIRMINGHAM!
On International Women’s Day, FWFC joined Reclaim the Night and marched through the city centre to protest the epidemic of violence faced by women every day, across the world, whose numbers are great and whose voices are not heard.
A huge thank you to the University of Birmingham Guild of Students Women’s Officers and GMB Trade Union for organising this fantastic, hugely important event, and to the speakers Lisa Thompson CEO of RSVP (Rape and Sexual Violence Project) and Aisha Ali-Khan Activist & Human Rights Campaigner.
